MACT Festival History

If your theatre would like to host a MACT festival, please review the MACT*Fest host information page and complete and submit a MACT*Fest host application.

The “Best of Fest” shows listed below represented Minnesota at the Region V AACTFest.

# = Show represented Region V (and Minnesota) at (national) AACTFest.

Since MACT started in 1973, Minnesota has had 14 shows advance to the national AACTFest, more than any other state in Region V.
In 2017, Minnesota had two shows in AACTFest.
In 2017 and 2027, Minnesota was home to the festival trifecta, with the state, regional and national festivals all in Minnesota.
