We are looking for volunteers to serve on the Fast*Fest 2024 committee. Please pass this information on to fellow colleagues / volunteers of your community theatre who may be interested in being a part of the Fast*Fest 2024 committee.
To minimize the need to travel for Fast*Fest 2024 committee meetings, we would have most of the meetings virtually via zoom during weeknights or Saturday mid mornings. We plan to have the Fast*Fest committee start meeting in late fall to early winter of 2023, with meetings up to once a month. They may become more frequent as we are near the date of Fast*Fest 2024.
If you are interested in being on the Fast*Fest 2024 committee, please email Darren at ddbeech@earthlink.net indicating your interest in being part of the committee. Please send an email of interest by Friday, September 29 to Darren at ddbeech@earthlink.net.
Openverse searches across more than 300 million images from open APIs and the Common Crawl dataset. It goes beyond simple search to aggregate results across multiple public repositories into a single catalog, and facilitates reuse through features like machine-generated tags and one-click attribution.
Openverse is the successor to CC Search which was launched by Creative Commons in 2019, after its migration to WordPress in 2021. We remain committed to our goal of tackling discoverability and accessibility of open-access media.
Please note that Openverse does not verify whether the images are properly CC licensed, or whether the attribution and other licensing information we have aggregated is accurate or complete. Please independently verify the licensing status and attribution information before reusing the content.

Seeking Fast*Fest Committee
Fast*Fest 2024 will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at The Encore Performing Arts Center and Gallery in Cloquet. It will be hosted by County Seat Theater Company. Fast*Fest is MACT’s biennial festival of 20-minute plays. At Fast*Fest, audiences enjoy a wide variety of short plays, and have the opportunity to attend theatre workshops on topics of interest to actors, directors, technical crews, and all fans of community theatre. Community theatres present up to a 20-minute play with a short moderator-led colloquy of each show following its performance. It is a great opportunity to try out new works before a very receptive and appreciative audience.We are looking for volunteers to serve on the Fast*Fest 2024 committee. Openverse
Openverse is a tool that allows openly licensed and public domain works to be discovered and used by everyone.Openverse searches across more than 300 million images from open APIs and the Common Crawl dataset.
