Alex the lion is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction at New York’s Central Park Zoo. He and his best friends — Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo — have spent their whole lives in blissful captivity before an admiring public and with regular meals provided for them. Not content to leave well enough alone, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and makes his escape — with the help of some prodigious penguins — to explore the world. Join us for a week of fun as they bound onto the Northern Starz stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime.

Please note: There will be video auditions on Tuesday, July 8th for those interested in lead roles. This will allow for extra memorization time as we will be using the Junior level script. After you register, you will receive an email with a link to sign up for a virtual audition. Please be patient, as these are sent out once weekly.
