MACT

At our MACT Board of Directors meeting yesterday (December 13th), the MACT Board approved the dates and locations for several upcoming MACT events. These dates and locations are tentative, pending the signing of contracts with the associated facilities. But we wanted you to be aware of the dates as you are preparing your seasons that include dates in 2026 and 2027.

Fast*Fest is tentatively scheduled for August 21 & 22 at Theatre in the Round in Minneapolis.

Minnesota will be home to the trifecta of community theatre festivals in 2027. The state festival, of course, the Region V AACTFest and the national AACTFest will all be in Minnesota. With all three festivals so close, this is a great time to get involved with and participate in this unique experience. Whether it be as part of a presenting theatre or an audience member, it is something you are likely to remember for a long time.

MACT*Fest 2027 is tentatively scheduled for February 17 – 21, 2007 at the Reif Performing Arts Center in Grand Rapids. MACT*Fest ’27 will be hosted by the Grand Rapids Players.

The Region V AACTFest is tentatively scheduled for April 1 – 3, 2027 at Memorial Auditorium in Worthington.

The national festival, AACTFest, will be at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, June 16 – 19, 2027.

This is the second time that Minnesota has been host for all three levels of community theatre festivals, having had that honor in 2017 also.
