MACTIt’s that time of year again … time for MACT’s annual meeting. And you’re invited.
Our annual meeting will be held one week from today, Saturday June 7, at Northern Starz Center for the Performing Arts in Ramsey. (NOTE: Ramsey the city, not Ramsey the county.) The event will start at 3:00 pm.
This event will include a potluck meal, the MACT annual meeting and elections, a state of MACT report and plenty of time to socialize.
Individual MACT members and one representative from each member theatre is entitled to vote on candidates for the Board of Directors and any other matters that require a vote. We are happy to report that there are several individuals interested in joining the MACT Board of Directors. Those in attendance will also be electing officers from the existing Board members. (Newly elected Board members cannot be an officer for one year after first being elected to the Board.)
For the potluck meal, MACT will be providing sloppy joes, buns, plates, napkins, silverware and water. Significant others and other guests are welcome, so please let us know if you will be coming alone or bringing others.
The Northern Starz Center for the Performing Arts is located at 5300 Alpine Drive, Ramsey MN 55303. We will be meeting outside (weather permitting) on the lower level.
