Kolie has been awarded the Achievement in Directing from The Kennedy Center and is ecstatic about finding the next ways the build theater in the Twin Cities.
As part of the application process, Kolie was asked about her experience and what she has to offer MACT. Here are her responses.
I view being a Board Member with the Minnesota Association of Community Theater as a way to connect with, help grow, and congratulate all community theaters across Minnesota. Especially with our time and place in our culture, this is a time artist and those who support the arts need to come together to support our communities, careers, and creativity. I am also looking forward to helping facilitate festivals for community theaters, as I had a wonderful time attending MACT*Fest earlier this year.
