September 14 – 20 is Arts in Education Week

National Arts in Education Week is our collective opportunity to raise awareness, take action, and inspire change for every student’s right to access quality arts education. This year’s theme, “Stronger Together for Arts in Education,” highlights the power of acting as one—educators, students, families, organizations, and advocates—to ensure the arts remain an essential part of every child’s learning experience.

Please contact your school’s Superintendent and building Principals to let them know that arts education is important and even vital to a well-rounded education. Let them know that there are many people in their district that are arts supporters.

If you know any arts educators, I’m sure they would appreciate a note from you letting them know that they are appreciated.
