Lakeshore Players is seeking talented and experienced sound folks to join our production teams for two exciting upcoming shows: ANNIE and Once Upon a Mattress. We are looking for a Sound Engineer for our holiday production of ANNIE, and a Sound Designer and Engineer for our spring show, Once Upon a Mattress.

ANNIE

We are seeking a dedicated Sound Engineer to manage and operate all sound equipment for this classic holiday production. The ideal candidate will have experience with live musicals and be responsible for the setup, operation, and strike of the show’s sound system.

  • Tech & Performance Dates: November 13 – December 14, 2025

  • This production will be using tracks (no live orchestra).
  • Sound Engineer stipend is $1,000.

Once Upon a Mattress

For this production, we are hiring for a dual role: Sound Designer and Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating the sound design, including all sound effects and musical cues, as well as engineering the show during the tech and performance run.

We are open to considering this as a single, dual role or hiring two separate individuals to fill the positions of Sound Designer and Sound Engineer. Please specify in your interest form if you are interested in one or both roles.

  • Tech & Performance Dates: April 16 – May 17, 2026

  • This production will include a live orchestra.
  • Sound Designer stipend is $500 and Sound Engineer stipend is $1,250.
