A rediscovered classic by Sir James M. Barrie (“Peter Pan”). Barry’s 1920 play, Mary Rose, is a mysterious love story and a ghost story. Mary Rose is a girl who vanishes twice. As a child, she was taken by her father to a remote Scottish island. While she’s briefly out of her father’s sight, Mary Rose vanishes. The entire island is searched exhaustively. Twenty-one days later, Mary Rose reappears as mysteriously as she disappeared…but she shows no effects of having been gone for three weeks, and she has no knowledge of any gap or missing time.

The Minnesota Association of Community Theatres (MACT) is a statewide, volunteer run organization. We hold meetings, workshops, festivals and other events throughout the state of Minnesota.
MACT operates on a two year cycle. In even numbered years we put on FAST*Fest, a non-adjudicated festival of 20-minute plays. In odd numbered years we produce MACT*Fest, which is an adjudicated festival of 60-minute plays which is part of the AACTFest cycle. Along with the performances at our festivals there are workshops and networking events.
