MACT

The Marshall Area Stage Company (MASC) is seeking submissions for its Seventh Biennial Short Play Festival.  The Festival will be held March 9, 2024 at the Marshall- Lyon County Library.  Submissions can be original works or published works.  If you wish to submit a published piece, royalties are the responsibility of the submitter. MASC will not pay the royalties.

Submissions can be script-in-hand readings or fully rehearsed, fully realized productions.  If you wish to submit as a script-in-hand reading, MASC can provide talented readers to bring your script to life.  If you wish to submit a full production, rehearsals and production costs are the responsibility of the submitter.  There will be one morning of rehearsal in the space on March 9th starting at 10:00 am.  The performance will be at 7:00 pm that same day.  There is no fee to participate.  You will receive no compensation for participation.  MASC may select a play from this festival to present at the statewide MACT Fast*Fest in Cloquet, MN in August.
