The Minnesota Association of Community Theatres (MACT) received a grant from MRAC to produce a series of three or four workshop days in the 7-county metro area.  We are currently planning those workshops.  We are looking for locations to hold the workshops.  Here’s some basic information regarding what we are looking for and the time frame.

We are looking for facilities that are available for a Saturday morning and afternoon.  We are aiming for three or four locations on separate Saturdays between April 1 and May 19.  We need two rooms for concurrent workshops and a common area for check-in, gathering and lunch.  At this time we have no idea how many people might attend each workshop. We are hoping for 10 to 25 per workshop.

Possible schedule for the day:

  • 9:00 am open for setup
  • 9:30 check-in begins
  • 10:00 – 12:00 two concurrent workshops
  • 12:00 – 1:30 lunch/social/discussion
  • 1:30 – 3:30 two concurrent workshops
  • 4:00 done

If you have a facility that might meet our needs, and is accessible for people with mobility disabilities, please complete the questionnaire (click here).

If you know of a facility that might work, please forward this post to the appropriate person at the facility.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Please respond ASAP.  Time is of the essence.  We hope to have the facilities identified and booked by March 2nd.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
