Fast*Fest Schedule Announced

The FACT*Fest committee is pleased to announce the schedule for Fast*Fest 2024. Fast Fest ’24 will be held at the Encore Performing Arts Center, home of our host County Seat Theater Company, in Cloquet. 15 theatres will be presenting short (20-minute max) shows throughout the day on Saturday August 17.

Friday, August 16:

7:00 pm – 9:00 pm Open house at Encore Performing Arts Center
   (light snacks provided by MACT – beverages available for purchase)

Saturday, August 17:

9:00 am Performance Session 1 – 5 productions:
   Sister Loretta – Penny Pinchin’ Production
   The Spot – County Seat Theater Company
   The Last Romeo – Ole Olson Onstage
   Macbeth, The Oppositional King – Classics Lost N Found Theatre
   Jeanette Rankin: Champion of Persistence – Thorn Productions

12:00 pm Lunch (on your own)

1:30 pm Performance Session 2 – 5 productions:
   Lunchtime! – Mindless Mirth Productions
   All’s Well That Ends – NKB Productions
   Porch Talk – Rhubarb Jam
   Anniversary Season – Zenith City Players
   Timber – Marshall Area Stage Company

5:00 pm Dinner (provided by MACT with full package only)
   Menu (subject to change): pulled pork sandwich, vegie salad, chips, other fixin’s, cookie, water

6:30 Performance Session 3 – 5 productions:
   The Door – Seat of Your Pants Players
   Heart Attack – Open Heart Theatre
   Wedding Belle Blues – Pargeter Players
   A Woman Over Forty – Applause Community Theatre
   Death Knocks – FungusAmongus Players

After Glow Social following last performance – 12:00 pm at Encore Performing Arts Center
   (light snacks provided by MACT – beverages available for purchase)

Registrations are now available on MACT’s on-line ticketing site.

Full Package (all performances, 2 social and the Saturday evening meal) is only $50 before August 10. On or after August 10 the full package price will be $65.

Individual performance sessions are available for $20 per performance session before August 10. On or after August 10 the individual performance sessions will cost $25 per performance session.

NOTE: All participants (show cast and crew members) are required to purchase a ticket for at least the session they are performing in. (Though we hope you will want to see all the shows and purchase a full package.)

NOTE2: The Saturday evening meal is only available with a full package – it cannot be purchased as an a la carte item.
