Auditions for On Golden Pond (Albert Lea)

Auditions for On Golden Pond will be held Sunday, Aug. 24, and Monday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. both nights. Auditions are held at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center.
THE STORY
Ethel and Norman Thayer return to their summer home on Golden Pond for the forty-eighth year. Norman, a retired professor nearing eighty, experiences heart palpitations and a failing memory, yet remains lively and observant. Ethel, ten years younger, delights in the small things that enrich their life together. They are visited by their divorced daughter and her fiancé, who leave her teenage son behind for the summer. The boy becomes the “grandchild” the couple longed for, and Norman learns about modern adolescent awareness and slang.

WHAT ROLES ARE AVAILABLE?
There are fives roles, four for adults and one for a tween/teenager.
WHEN ARE REHEARSALS?
